SEWA Federation Chair participates in webinar on cooperative health

[vc_row][vc_column][gem_youtube video_id=”D4knmMORYJo” width=”600″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Our Chair, Miraiben, represented SEWA Federation at a webinar organized by the ICA and IHCO, as part of a new initiative called “The Cooperative Way” (TCW). TCW will consist of a series of webinars that will showcase the capacity of the cooperative model to adapt to the needs of communities during times of crises on multiple levels, and simultaneously demonstrating the value cooperatives can bring to communities, and important partnerships with local and national governments to reduce the impact of crises.

This webinar was the first in the series, titled “The Cooperative Way: Health Cooperatives during COVID-19 and in times of crises” took place on June 17, 2020 and allowed participants to get to know first-hand the invaluable role and contribution of cooperatives in the health sector during these complicated times of COVID-19.
